Travel Information

Airports: San Diego International Airport (SAN) is 17 miles—a 20–30-minute ride—from the Lodge at Torrey Pines. A variety of transportation options to and from the airport are available, including rental cars, private car service, taxi, Lyft, or Uber.

John Wayne Santa Ana Airport (SNA) also is a travel option and is located 73 miles—approximately 75-90 minutes—north of the Lodge.

Uber & Lyft: Rides from San Diego International Airport using Uber and Lyft range from $36 up to $90 one way, depending on the level of service selected (e.g., X, XL, Lux, Black, etc.).

Taxi: Approximately $55-$70 one way from the airport.

Parking: Both self-parking and valet parking is offered at the Lodge for those renting cars or driving to the meeting. The self-parking fee (normally $50 per day) is waived for ACMA guests, as per the College’s contract with the Lodge. Valet parking is $60 per day.

Other Information

Weather: Daily average high temperatures in late September in La Jolla are in the low-to-mid 70s. Nighttime temperatures hover in the mid-to-low 60s. Most days are sunny and temperate, with a nice coastal breeze that cools things down a bit. Rainfall is quite rare during this time of year.
